The DualSelect dispenser system is designed to deliver medicaments or water through DENTSPLY Cavitron ultrasonic scalers, SPS, Jet SPS and ProphyJet systems. With the addition of this dispensing system, clinicians have an option of using external water or creating an immediate closed water system for ultrasonic scaling, periodontal debridement and airpolishing procedures. The DualSelect provides adjunctive therapy with irrigation, delivering the variety of medicaments aiding in the treatment of periodontal disease. Antimicrobial solutions can assist in eliminating periodontal pathogens and reduce airborne bacteria. Debridement with chlorhexidine can reduce periodontal inflammation, pocket depth and decrease bacterium. By switching to clean water delivery, the two 500ml bottles of the DualSelect avoids using external water and can reduce the risk of biofilm contamination during airpolishing, periodontal debridement, and periodontal surgical procedures.
