The Henry Schein Maxima-M Straight Attachment is a reliable low-speed dental handpiece accessory designed for use with Midwest-brand low-speed motors. Built for both hygiene and general clinical procedures, this straight attachment delivers consistent performance with intuitive operation and versatile functionality.

It accommodates ISO standard 2.35 mm straight handpiece burs, grinding disc shanks, and universal (U-style) disposable prophy angles. A locking ring with visual alignment dots ensures secure bur retention and safe operation. The attachment must not be operated without a bur or angle properly seated, as doing so can cause internal damage.

Installation is simple—just slide the attachment onto the motor until it clicks in place. It detaches easily via the motor’s latch mechanism, whether using the flush-mounted latch on a Shorty® motor or the latch ring on a Rhino® XP motor. The Maxima-M is steam sterilizable at 135°C for a minimum of 15 minutes between uses.
